T-Pain Launches Online-Only Record Label
What can you say? With all the social media marketing rising these days what is a successful music artist to do these days? T-pain tops the edge in becoming the next P.Diddy in his own style! He already has a few artists on the label to push it forward and even has the songs out on iTunes! His comment about reaching users where they are at, “online” is an indicator that he is willing to traverse the world of the digital and music matrix. Go T-Pain!

“So you wanna be a DJ?” they say.
“You can spin music? Do you have turntables?” they say.
“What? You’re not a real DJ if you don’t use vinyl!” they say.
I say I’m a DJ and I use whatever I have at my disposal to get the music out there! We are in a digital age and even the greatest of DJ’s/Producers are moving to MP3, CD, external hardrives, video or laptops. One thing is clear: No matter what the medium or the gear, creativity and talent with music has a plethora of viable outlets to express the art of music! Rather than pack around a galore of vinyl in crates, I pack my laptop with MP3s and CDs! My friends want to know what’s hot or what’s been on my mind I mix up and tweak a few songs and thrown ‘em on a CD and give them a copy! If I had vinyl I would use the tools to copy to MP3 format and burn to disk! Vinyl is awesome and will be around forever! The digital format is my medium and I am relentless in getting as much of it as I can and taking themusic out of my head and sharing with the masses.
